It’s summer. In a retirement home for aging musicians three retired opera singers remember their lives on stage. As they prepare to celebrate Verdi’s birthday, they reminisce about their successful recording of Rigoletto’s quartet.

But it takes four people to make a quartet. A new arrival seems the perfect answer – until she starts upsetting the status quo.

This charming play, by the award winning playwright Ronald Harwood, is as funny as it is poignant.
