A LeedsCan and Carriageworks present
A two-day course led by improvisation professional Kate McCabe.
The program is a two-day course designed for actors who wish to use improv skills to bolster their stage work. Students will learn how to think on their feet, connect with their characters, and support each other on stage and as an ensemble.
We'll learn fun 'Whose Line Is It Anyway'-style improv games. But, we'll also look at exercises that help you strengthen your connection to your fellow players, see the 'bigger picture' in any scene, build confidence, and be braver on stage.
The course will culminate in a showcase immediately following the second session.
Actors and improvisers of all levels are encouraged to attend as the course will not only guide 'newbies' through some basic improv concepts,
Course fee is £20 per person, places are limited to 20 places
