In line with national guidance to manage the impact of coronavirus in Leeds to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Leeds City Council (LCC) staff and the people of Leeds, we must, for the time being, continue to stay at home unless it is absolutely essential to go out in order to protect our NHS and save lives.

The majority of our events through to the end of June have either been cancelled by the promoter or postponed to a later date. If you have bought tickets to any of our events a member of our Box Office team will be in touch with you shortly. If you have any queries please contact: boxoffice@leeds.gov.uk and allow our team to either respond via email or call you back. If that’s not possible, please call the team on 0113 376 0318 (Mon-Fri between 10am and 5pm). Please be prepared for a short wait as our Box Office team are now working remotely. Voicemail messages will be collected on a regular basis and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. Please be assured that every ticket holder will be contacted either by email, telephone or post. We won’t forget you.

Until it is safe and practical to welcome audiences back to our events we will continue to develop our online content and look forward to engaging with as many people as possible through our social media channels, where we’ll also keep you informed of any changes and their implications as soon as we can.

Many thanks for your understanding and continued support during these difficult times.

Keep safe and well.

With kind regards
Leeds Arts Events & Venues Team

DEPARTING SHADOWS

DI Christy Kennedy returns in Departing Shadows, a deceit-laden tale of intrigue, which takes him from London to Brighton and back, and into the arms of the West End's most celebrated up-and-coming actress, Nealey Dean. But all's not well in vibey Camden Town, as Kennedy investigates a death just outside a diplomatic compound, and finds his investigation immediately stymied by the invocation of diplomatic privilege. The deceased, an actress of a different sort, hostess and social media influencer Gabriella Byrne, left behind a world of mystery, where even those who knew her best did not know her well. As Kennedy interviews witnesses and checks alibis, his investigation brings him from London's hallowed palaces of power to seamy lap-dance clubs, each with smoke and mirrors of their own. Along the way, he discovers just how far some people will go to protect their darkest secrets.
