Leeds Storytelling Takeover
As part of Leeds Lit Fest 19
Adverse Camber commissions storytelling and music performances, working with artists in a team-based approach to creative development, tour production and marketing. Hannah McDowall is a researcher in applied economics who has been interviewing storytellers over the past year to map the ‘Storytelling Value Chain’ – the different ways in which storytellers find and create paid opportunities to perform.
This session offers up to 15 participants the chance to find out more about Adverse Camber’s working methods for artist-led touring projects and to discuss the progression pathways for performance storytellers, including potential barriers to progression and ways of tackling these.
