Leeds Children's Theatre presents
In this lovable classic folktale, told with suspense and charm, Hansel and Gretel are sent into the forbidden forest to gather berries by their uncaring, heartless, stepmother. Lost and wandering, they hear magical fairy music that guides them to an enchanted cottage made of gingerbread, sugarplums and lollipops where they are captured by the evil witch who plans to eat them. But, with help of Trudi the cat and the Jack-in-Box, they are able to outwit the witch, transform the cat to her rightful shape, release the forest fairy from eternal imprisonment and eventually return to their loving father.
