In line with national guidance to manage the impact of coronavirus in Leeds to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Leeds City Council (LCC) staff and the people of Leeds, we must, for the time being, continue to stay at home unless it is absolutely essential to go out in order to protect our NHS and save lives.

The majority of our events through to the end of June have either been cancelled by the promoter or postponed to a later date. If you have bought tickets to any of our events a member of our Box Office team will be in touch with you shortly. If you have any queries please contact: and allow our team to either respond via email or call you back. If that’s not possible, please call the team on 0113 376 0318 (Mon-Fri between 10am and 5pm). Please be prepared for a short wait as our Box Office team are now working remotely. Voicemail messages will be collected on a regular basis and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. Please be assured that every ticket holder will be contacted either by email, telephone or post. We won’t forget you.

Until it is safe and practical to welcome audiences back to our events we will continue to develop our online content and look forward to engaging with as many people as possible through our social media channels, where we’ll also keep you informed of any changes and their implications as soon as we can.

Many thanks for your understanding and continued support during these difficult times.

Keep safe and well.

With kind regards
Leeds Arts Events & Venues Team

The Storm Whale

The Storm Whale

Noi lives with his Dad and six cats by the sea… One summer, while his Dad was busy at work, Noi rescued a little whale that washed up on the beach. A friendship began that changed their lives forever.
The following winter his Dad takes one last trip in his fishing boat. Noi is alone once more and longs to see his friend again. He waits and watches, watches and waits… Will it take another storm to bring them back together?

Benji Davies’s tender and heart-warming stories of loneliness, love and courage are brought to life as one magical piece of theatre from the team behind Grandad’s Island.
