Enjoy an afternoon bursting with music, song, dance, food and celebration.

Celebrate the talented SAA-uk students keeping Indian culture, music and dance alive in Leeds.There will be colourful performances from the SAA-uk's Punjabi Folk Academy, mesmerising shows in Bharatanatyam and Kathak Dance, plus inspirational performances from South Indian and North Indian Music Academies.

Time of event: 12 – 6pm

Have a Go Workshops:  12 – 2pm

Main Show: 3.30 – 6pm, with a short comfort break.

Pre show ‘Have-a-go’ Workshops:

                      12 – 1pm Have-a-go ‘Indian Vocals – Explore Raag Bilawal’ in Meeting Room 2

                      12 – 1pm Have-a-go ‘Bhangra-cize’ in Meeting Room 1

                     1-2pm Have-a-go ‘Sri-Lankan Kandyan Dance’ in Meeting Room 1

The pre-show workshops are just £3.50 each, additional to the cost of the Main ticket, and can be booked via SAA-uk’s Eventbrite page https://www.eventbrite.com/o/south-asian-arts-uk-10859576616 . This is the perfect opportunity to try out something new! Workshops are open to everyone!

Lunch: Indian Vegetarian Lunch is included in the ticket price, so be sure to arrive between 12pm – 2.30pm if you want to enjoy your complimentary lunch before the show begins. Tea, coffee and other light refreshments can be purchased from Carriageworks café-bar.
