Leeds Arts Events & Venues - Covid-19 Update (15 June 2020)


In order to protect the safety and well-being of our audiences and staff, as we continue to manage the impact of COVID-19 in Leeds; to stay at home as much as possible to control the virus and save lives, our events through to the end of July have either been cancelled by the promoter or postponed to a later date.

If you have bought tickets to any of our events a member of our Box Office team will be in touch with you shortly. Beauty and the Beast

After the hugely successful Jack and the Beanstalk, Paul Holman Associates returns to Carriageworks Theatre for Winter 2018 with their magical pantomime Beauty and the Beast.

A journey of enchantment in one of the most loved fairy tales of all time. Featuring spellbinding special effects, glittering sets, stunning costumes, magic and mayhem, Beauty and the Beast guarantees to be the perfect festive treat for all the family.

Relive one of the most enchanting and magical stories of all time as the Carriageworks Theatre brings this timeless classic to life for all the family.

 

Duration: Approx. 2hrs 30min including a 20 minute interval

Jez Edwards as Philippe Philoppe

The engaging and energetic Jez Edwards will be bouncing onto the Carriageworks stage in Beauty and the Beast this Christmas for a record breaking tenth consecutive pantomime appearance.

 

 

Sapphire Elia as Belle

Sapphire is making a welcome return to Leeds following her time as series regular Mia Macey in ITV’s hugely popular Emmerdale which is filmed at the nearby Harewood Estate.

Recent years have seen Sapphire’s career blossom with recurring roles in ITV1’s musical series Britannia High (which also showcased her impressive vocal talents) and Sky One’s popular football drama Dream Team.
