Eleven-year-old Harry Potter discovers he’s a wizard and joins Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Unravelling family secrets, he confronts looming evil threatening the wizarding world. With friends Ron and Hermione, Harry navigates Hogwarts’ mysteries, facing challenges at every turn. Their journey unfolds in a magical tale of bravery and friendship.

We’ll be screening the first three spellbinding movies as part of Harry Potter day at LYFF 2024 and we invite you to join us at the Carriageworks Theatre dressed in your finest wizarding attire, whether homemade or not! We are super excited that The Flying Squadron will be back with real live owls and a flying display in the auditorium alongside other fun mini-activities before the film. Just arrive 30 minutes before the start time to ‘meet’ the owls and get involved. The Owls are only present before the 2nd and 3rd films of the day.
