Built in 2005, as part of the redevelopment of the Grade II listed Electric Press printing works, the Carriageworks provides a stunning backdrop with a sympathetic meeting of old and new architecture. Located on the first floor, this modern venue overlooks an historic glass-roofed and heated courtyard which in early Victorian times was home to the West Riding Carriage Manufactory, from which it takes its name.

With its large auditorium and six meeting rooms, the Carriageworks offers an inspiring venue for a wide range of events including conferences, presentations and training events with high quality facilities and spectacular scenic views of Millennium square and Mandela Gardens.
