Support our Carriageworks Young Theatre Makers (CYTM)
CYTM are young people aged 11 – 18 who meet weekly to develop skills as performers, writers and directors. By developing innovative shows from conception through to performance, CYTM increase their knowledge of working in theatre and form a supportive group where their creativity is nurtured, and they are offered a genuine platform for their ideas.
We welcome support from local businesses and organisations to help sustain and expand upon our work, ensuring that more young people can benefit from creative opportunities regardless of their financial or socio-economic background. Your contribution would make a real and lasting impact, helping young people in our community access the arts and develop crucial life skills.
Sponsor a Young Person - £450 (+VAT)
Give one young person the opportunity to take part in CYTM for a full academic year. This includes:
- 38 weekly devising sessions across three academic terms (90 mins per session).
- Participation in two professionally staged productions in the Carriageworks Theatre Studio and main auditorium, in spring and summer.
- 5 days of technical and dress rehearsals in the Carriageworks Theatre, culminating in the summer performance.
- Bronze Arts Award moderation fees
You will receive:
- Your logo and company name featured on our website
- Shout-out on CYTM and Carriageworks Theatre social media
- Your logo and company name in the show brochures
- 2 complimetary tickets for the end of year production
Sponsor a Show - £1000 (+VAT)
Support our flagship Summer Show, enabling us to fund:
- Props, costumes and set materials for 44 young people.
- Give the young people the opportunity to work with a professional choreographer and set designer and cover support worker fees.
- Technical production costs
You will receive all the benefits listed above, plus:
- Headline sponsor credit in the show cast sheet, approximately 100 copies printed.
- Logo placement on the official event webpage
- Two additional complimentary tickets to the summer production
