In Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts, he, Ron, and Hermione must face a sinister new mystery when an escaped prisoner, Sirius Black, threatens their safety. As conflicts arise with the menacing Dementors hunting for the prisoner, a new teacher helps Harry learn self-defence. But what’s his connection to Black? And what is the dog-like omen of death that Harry keeps seeing, lurking in the shadows?

We’ll be screening the first three spellbinding movies as part of Harry Potter day at LYFF 2024 and we invite you to join us at the Carriageworks Theatre dressed in your finest wizarding attire, whether homemade or not! We are super excited that The Flying Squadron will be back with real live owls and a flying display in the auditorium alongside other fun mini-activities before the film. Just arrive 30 minutes before the start time to ‘meet’ the owls and get involved. The Owls are only present before the 2nd and 3rd films of the day.
