Students from Leeds Conservatoire present a new production of Moria Buffini’s modern-day setting of this ancient myth, about a war-torn nation in the aftermath of conflict.

Welcome to Thebes tells the story of newly-elected president, Eurydice, as she promises peace and stability to her country amongst a backdrop of political unrest and a struggle for power. Opposing parties look for any opportunity to seize control and undermine the new female president.
