Our programme offers an inspiring and imaginative introduction to the magic of live theatre. Local schools and nurseries visit the Carriageworks Theatre each year to experience world-class theatre which provides great opportunities for follow-up activities.

Booking a School Trip
Tickets
To book tickets for your class, email groupbookings@leeds.gov.uk or telephone 0113 376 0318. One teacher or accompanying adult goes free for every ten children. Payment must be made no later than 6 weeks before the date of your visit. Tickets are non-refundable once payment is received, therefore please be certain of the number of tickets you require.
Refreshments
Drinks, ice-creams and lollies are available but need to be ordered in advance. Email our Operations Team at carriageworks.operations@leeds.gov.uk or telephone 07891 279 100. Lunch and party spaces are available on request. Please let us know your requirements when booking.
Access
The Carriageworks Theatre’s coach drop-off and pick-up is on Great George Street, directly behind the theatre entrance on Millennium Square. Please note there is no parking at the front entrance to the Carriageworks Theatre. We encourage teachers to make a preparatory visit to assess the facilities available to school groups. Please call 07891 279 100 to arrange a visit.
