This Christmas, the spellbinding story of Sleeping Beauty bursts onto the Carriageworks Theatre stage in a spectacular pantomime packed with magic, music, and mayhem!

When the wicked fairy Carabosse puts a curse on Princess Ariana to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and sleep for 100 years, it’s up to a dashing prince, a good fairy, and her best friend Muddles to save the day. But will true love’s kiss be enough to break the spell?

With dazzling sets, toe-tapping tunes, audience participation galore and all the traditional panto magic everyone loves, Sleeping Beauty at the Carriageworks is the ultimate festive treat for all ages.

Accessible Performances

Relaxed Performance: Relaxed performances allow audiences to move around freely, leave or enter the auditorium as needed. The lights never go completely dark and sound effects are softened.

Ice Creams: Please complete the ice cream order form and email it to carriageworks.operations@leeds.gov.uk at least 10 days before collection date to ensure stock availability.

Risk Assessments: Please download our attached Risk Assessment and Information Pack before visiting us.

Coaches: There is a loading bay located on Great George Street that can be used as a drop off/pick up area for school coaches.
